Fall chocolate items

Christopher Norman is making chocolate pumpkin bowls, chocolate cats, red-eyes skulls and Thanksgiving turkeys for the fall season holidays. The bowls can be filled with truffles for a great gift. Come in and check them out.

We just celebrated the union of Verdigris Tea and The Chocolate Bar last week with Saturday's wedding event. Chef Regina Simmons created a White Peach and White Chocolate 3 Layer Wedding Cake and a White and Black Layered Espresso Chocolate Groom's Cake for the event. Joe, from Christopher Norman Chocolates presided over the Chocolate counter and Betsy Miller poured wine pairings from Fairview Wine and Spirits. A great time was had by all.

 

Now, we have both stores located under one roof at 135 Warren Street.

 

Come in for a rich, dark Hot Chocolate Drink and some Truffles!  

Moving On Up!

The Chocolate Bar is moving in with Verdigris Tea! The two stores are joining together to bring you tea, espresso and chocolate in one location. Come celebrate with us on September 15th at Verdigris Tea / The Chocolate Bar from 5-7 pm. We will have a wedding cake, chocolates from Christopher Norman paired with wines from Fairview Wine.

The new location will offer longer hours, staying open from 11-8 pm  Thurs-Saturday, with regular hours of 11-6  Sunday-Wednesday (closed Tues) For more info, call us at 518-828-3139.

Last Sunday's tour of Christopher Norman Chocolates was great fun. John Down was his usual entertaining and informative self, teaching everybody present about how things work at the Chocolate Factory in Hudson.

The Christopher Norman Chocolate Tasting was a great success. CN unveiled their Tea infused chocolates using Verdigris Teas. Awesome chocolates in Ginger, Maple Green, Kama Sutra Chai and Royal Bengal Tiger (mango & passionfruit) flavors. Next week, these chocolates will be available at The Chocolate Bar and Verdigris Tea exclusively, as beautiful Chocolate Bars.

The first tour of the Christopher Norman Chocolate Factory will be this Sunday at 2 pm. Registration is full for this one, but sign up at Verdigris or the Chocolate Bar for the next tour.

The only chocolate manufactured in Madagascar from sustainable cocoa plants grown in the same country.  Their bars will make Fanny Farmer blush: Cinnamon and Sakay (a hot chili pepper), Arabica Coffee or Pepper and Citrus. 

This is just the beginning!
